Presque Isle Bay is a great place to fill the cooler with slab gills and sunfish and often will will be a calm place to fish when the Lake is nasty. Rising temperature forecasts over the next few week or so should quickly bring lake temperatures up and improve both the perch and walleye fishing. The only bad thing, because of no ice on the lake, was no ice fishing. As of this writing, there is still no major evidence of steelhead staging near the tributary mouths.
